OH WOW! It just keeps getting better! "Wild Goose Chase" by Mark Batterson is a super-fun read!
Chapter 2 - Goose Bumps - Coming Out of the Cage of Responsibility
"The soul lives by that which it loves. ---St. John of the Cross

"What is it you want?"
"I'm convinced that many of our problems are by-products of the fact that most of us cannot answer that question. We don't know what we want. We've never defined our goals or values or passions, so we're out of touch with our hearts' desires. And our growing responsibilities have numbed us to the possibilities around us and the passions within us."
I'm so proud of my oldest son, Stephen. He and his little brother Christian are passionate about helping others. Today, Stephen took the POLAR PLUNGE in Table Rock Lake. He jumped into 44 degree waters to help raise money for the Special Olympics.
As moms, we want to do everything we can to encourage our children's passions! God will bless our families and open doors as we take every opportunity and STEP OUT to do great things for Him!
"Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart." When we delight ourselves in the Lord, new desires are conceived within us. God literally downloads new desires. And those divine desires become an internal compass that guides us as we embark on a Wild Goose chase."
"Christianity was always intended to be a verb NOT a noun. In fact, more specifically, an ACTION VERB. The primary reason most of us do not see God moving is simply because we aren't moving. If you want to see God move, you need to make a move!" Take a step of faith!
*Don't Whine.
*Don't Complain.
*Don't Check Out.
"Make the most of your situation. Do little things like they are big things. Keep a good attitude. Faithfully carry out your current obligations."
