It's a Winter Wonderland!

The view from our breakfast nook this morning.

Good Morning Peeps!  (My 13 yr old keeps me cool-LOL)

The kids are outta school again today!  We went to Target yesterday & they spent their Christmas gift cards on "Snowball Makers"!  No...I'm not kidding...now they have this long handled contraption with a circle thing on the end...you barely have to bend over OR get your hands wet and it packs the snow into a ball.  It works and the kids had a blast.

I took down the Christmas tree yesterday..aiyaya...so glad to get that done.
The living room is back!

My sweet sister gave me a few pounds of venison so I have prepared a huge bowl of Deer Chili.  I am so thankful...Mom & Dad gave me the RED PAULA DEEN COOKWARE SET for Christmas!  They are so beautiful and great to cook with.  If anyone is considering new cookware...as my son would say, "These are the bomb diggety!"  Now I'm wondering what to do with the other pounds?  Any ideas ladies????
Deer Chili in the making...

BTW, I got a call from a cousin (Garry) yesterday.  We found the 2 cousins that some of us have never met.  It is so awesome to connect but it doesn't sound like they are doing so great....sooooooo.....me & 2 other cousins are flying to meet them.  My oldest, new cousin (haha did that make sense?) is getting the plane tickets and we are off to connect!  People need people dontcha think?  We are on a mission of LOVE.

Garry, Me, Kellie

Maybe you have family you haven't talked to in awhile....its a process but always good to connect with family!  Just to say Hey...I'm here if you need me : )  It is so awesome to know in your heart that there are people who would drop everything if you needed them...ya know.

FINDING THE FLOOR!
Don't forget today's mission....the other bedrooms in your home & 1 load of laundry!
Light those yummy smelling candles to give your home that sweet smell of FAMILY!  Woodwick candles are awesome...they make you feel like your sitting around a campfire : )

FINDING FAVOR!
Psalm 75:1-2
"We give thanks to you, O God; we give thanks, for your name is near.  We recount your wondrous deeds."
Don't forget to take a minute & thank Him for His wondrous deeds....He's so NEAR no matter how you feel!

Marla, you didn't specify - is the venison ground?
If so you cook it just like you would hamburger. If it's not ground, it would be good fried or in a stew. Like I said on FB - I would be glad to take it off your hands so you don't have to deal with it. :)
