About the organizing thing...ummmm...I just wanna say...I DID NOT GET MY CHORES DONE YESTERDAY!
For crying in the night...I had my list ready...I was excited to motivate the boys to help...blah blah blah. I picked them up from school and they said, "Hey mom...today is TRAP SHOOTING and then CHURCH. Sooooooo, I left at 3pm and returned at 10pm.
I can't help but think about our Favored Friend, Dixie, who is trying to balance home chores and feeding the goats! (In freezing temps I might add!)
MAN O MAN...did LIFE...NOT GET MY MEMO? I AM GETTING ORGANIZED! I will not be defeated! This was a minor setback...I will march on!
Oh and one more thing while I'm baring all...THERE WERE 2 CUPS, 1 GLASS, 2 PLATES, 2 FORKS & 2 KNIVES LEFT IN MY KITCHEN SINK WHEN I WENT TO BED LAST NIGHT!!!! I saw them...I wanted them in the dishwasher but I couldn't reach the sink as I was CRAWLING by the kitchen to my bed!
And while we're at it...I DID NOT MAKE A GOURMET MEAL FOR MY DARLING CHILDREN. I'm just glad I remembered to feed them! And YES...it was the healthiest choice any mother could offer her growing boys...

I am going to make a few adjustments...my chore-free days will apparently be WEDNESDAY and SUNDAY. I'm not going to cry over chores on Saturday because as long as its only one hour I can do it quick in the morning.
The key is to be FLEXIBLE but don't give up on a plan...just tweak it till it works for you and your family.
I have a few more things I'd like to confess share...but it's going to have to wait till next blog...I'm feeling verklempt!!!!

Okay - I know that working out is important. But I can already tell you - that is not going to happen with me. :) All though I sit on my behind at work - weekends & some evenings I seem to work every muscle in my body. From bucking hay to wresting goats - no time to work in a work out. When I have down time - that's what I need down time.
Rather than committing to an hour a day to do house work - I was thinking of changing my TV viewing to an hour a day. The extra time would be spent on chores, reading a book & on line class. Last night was going to be my 1st night of limited TV. Didn't work out - Jim found an old movie & I couldn't pull myself away AND it wasn't even that good of a movie.
Try again tonight. The did I loose 2 pounds is not working - said the poll is closed.

Hey Chickie! I think you needed that time with your hubby last night : ) Bad movie or not! LOL I always do laundry during movies...at least I can be there, but MULTI-TASKING : ) I just fixed the "Did I lose my 2 lbs" thing...thank you soooo much for telling me!
I knew you would not need to workout with your chores on the farm. I was inspired that you are wanting to plan your evening better so you get more out of it! Very Cool! I'm still working on my plan...although part of my thing was to spend more quality time with the boys...this week we have sat down at the kitchen table and played board games on two different nights! That tells me I'm headed in the right direction.
