WOW! What a great reminder that God's promises in His Word are TRUE! Your circumstances may be screaming...WHERE IS GOD NOW? But I am here to remind you...He is right with you. He will NEVER leave you and He is NEVER late. Trust and Fear Not!
The 2nd part of that verse says He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. He is PROMISING to protect us IF WE take refuge in Him. That requires ACTION on our part. A tornado may be coming our way. If we stand out in the field, we may be caught up. If WE run to the storm shelter WE ARE GUARANTEED PROTECTION. Let's run to God. He is our storm shelter. He is our protector!
